Admission
Criteria
At least 18 years of age
Show proof of disablity
Be eligible for Title XIX or Third Party Funding
Spend majority of waking hours out of bed
Not exibit severe emotional disturbances or maladaptive
behaviors
Not be actively chemically dependant on alcohol or
non-prescription drugs
Be ambulatory or mobile non-ambulatory
Have prior approval of Iowa Foundation of Medical Care
Target Population
Those persons who meet the definition of developmentally
disabled, with emphasis on physical disabilities including:
Cerebral Palsy
Spina Bifida
Convulsive Disorders
Congenital Birth Defects
Diabetes
Blindness
Hearing Impaired
Hydrocephalic
Tuberous Sclerosis
Down's Syndrome
Fragile X Syndrome
Mental Retardation
